Ingredients
500 grams Chicken
2 teaspoon Cornflour
2 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
1 teaspoon Chili Powder
Half teaspoon Salt
1/3rd cup Tomato Ketchup
Half teaspoon Pepper Powder
2 tablespoon Brown Sugar
1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
1 teaspoon Kashmiri Chili Powder
1 teaspoon Honey
1 tablespoon Soya Sauce
1 teaspoon Mustard Sauce
Half teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
1 teaspoon Cornflour
1 tablespoon Oil
250 grams Basmati Rice
2 tablespoon Oil
1 Cinnamon
2 Cloves
7-8 Black Peppercorns
2 teaspoon Chopped Garlic
1 Onion
Half teaspoon Turmeric Powder
half teaspoon Cumin Powder
1 Chicken Cube
Half teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
Steps
Wash and Soak basmati rice in water for 20 minutes.
Lets marinate the Chicken;
Wash 500 grams of boneless chicken, remove all the excess water then add 2 tsp cornflour, 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp Chili powder, Half teaspoon salt and marinate it for 15 to 20 minutes.
Lets prepare barbeque sauce:
In a bowl take 1/3rd cup tomato ketchup, half tsp Pepper powder, 2 tbsp Brown sugar, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder ,1 tsp honey, 1 tbsp Soya sauce, 1 tsp mustard sauce, Half tsp black pepper powder mix it well.
Your barbeque sauce is ready; you can prepare this sauce and store it in an air container which can be used in any barbeque dish.
Now add 1 tsp Cornflour to the barbeque sauce mix it well and keep aside.
In a wok, heat 1 tbsp oil, add the marinated chicken fry it on high flame for 3 to 4 minutes, then cover and cook on low flame for 7 to 8 minutes till chicken is tender.
Do not add any water to the chicken let it cook in its own juices.
When the chicken is done pour the prepared barbeque sauce, mix it with the chicken for 2 minutes on low flame, then cook on high flame for 1 minute, so that the rawness of cornflour disappears.
The consistency of this chicken barbeque should be semi thick gravy, as it can be eaten with Arabic rice.
Add 1/4th cup of water to make some gravy mix it check salt if less add some when it boils off the flame.
Your delicious and amazing Chicken in Barbeque Sauce is ready.
Lets prepare the Rice:
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok add 1 cinnamon, 2 cloves ,7-8 black peppercorns, 2 tsp chopped garlic, 1 chopped onion fry it on high flame till golden brown then add half tsp turmeric powder, half tsp cumin powder sauté it for 20 to 30 seconds then add 2 cups of water.
When the water starts boiling add 1 chicken cube, half tsp salt mix it well, drain the water from the soaked basmati rice and add them to the boiling water, add 1 tsp lemon juice mix it with light hands.
Cook on high flame for 5 minutes then cover and cook for 7-8 minutes on low flame.
Check the rice if done off the flame.
Serve this Arabic Rice with Chicken Barbeque.

TIPS * Try to use chicken breasts that are close in size so that they cook evenly. You can also use boneless chicken thighs.
