This Malai Roll is an instant recipe and is an easy-peasy recipe which is irresistible. It consists of soft bread rolled with Malai filling dipped in Rabdi Cream Sauce. It will make your heart melt and mood awesome.

MALAI ROLLs

Ingredients

FOR STUFFING
½ Cup Milk Powder
1/3 Cup Milk (less than 1/2 cup)
1 Tsp Pure Ghee or Clarified Butter
1 ½ Tbsp Sugar
2 Tbsp Malai or Fresh Cream
5-6 Almonds (powdered)
¼ Tsp Cardamom Powder
For Rabdi Sauce Making
¾ Cup Milk (200ml)
½ Cup Milk Powder
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tsp Kewra Water or Rose Water
½ pinch of Saffron (optional)
FOR ROLLING THE STUFFING
5 Bread Slices (cut the edges)

Steps

STUFFING
• Take a heavy bottom non-stick wok. Do not on the flame. Add milk and milk powder and stir it well to avoid lumps
• Keep stirring on low flame, add ghee, sugar, cream, almond powder, cardamom powder and cook it for 5-6 mins, keep stirring and cook until the mixture thickens.
• Off the flame when the mixture has thickened and keep it aside. Voila! Stuffing is ready.
RABDI MILK SAUCE
• Take milk and milk powder in a pan and mix it.
• On a low flame cook it, keep stirring to avoid lumps. Keep scrapping the sides and cook until it thickens.
• Add sugar, kewra/rose water and saffron. Cook for 2-3 mins, off the flame and allow it to cool.
ROLLS
• Cut the edges of the bread and flatten it with a rolling pin.

• Arrange them on a deep serving dish and pour the rabdi for best results.
• Garnish with nuts and saffron.
• Serve it chilled.
