Chicken Aloo Shorba Recipe
Ingredients
2-3 Tbsp Oil
2 Onions
2 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Tomato
Salt
1 Tsp Cumin
10-12 Black Peppercorns
1/2 Cup Water
500 gms Chicken
1 Tbsp Coriander Powder
1/4th Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
2 Cup Water
2 Potatoes
Coriander Leaves
2 Tbsp Curd
1/2 Tsp Garam Masala Powder
2-3 Green Chillies
Steps
1. In a pressure cooker, heat 2-3 Tbsp Oil put 2 sliced Onion and sauté until golden brown in color.
2. Add Ginger Garlic Paste and sauté for a minute until the rawness smell disappears.
3. Add sliced Tomato, Salt, Cumin, Black Peppercorns and stir everything for a minute on low flame. Add ½ cup of Water and close the lid of pressure cooker. Cook on high flame for 1 whistle than lower the flame and cook for 2-3 minutes.
4. With the help of spatula mash the mixture on high flame for a minute. Add 500 gms Chicken, Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder and mix everything well on high flame.
5. Add 2 cup of Water, Potatoes, Few Coriander Leaves, Curd, Garam Masala Powder, crushed Green Chillies and mix everything well.
6. Cover the lid of the pressure cooker and cook for 2 whistles.
7. After 2 whistles open the lid and the gravy is ready. Oil is seperated from the gravy and the consistency is watery too.
8. Garnish with Few Coriander Leaves and serve with Tandoori Naan or Steam Rice.
