Chicken Barfi Kabab Recipe
Ingredients
250gms Boiled & Shredded Chicken
5Tbsp Corn Flour
2Tbsp Butter
1 Onion Chopped
1/4th Cup Sweet Corn
1 Carrot Chopped
3-4 Green Chillies Chopped
2Tbsp each Red
Green & Yellow Capsicum
1 Cup Milk
1 Boiled & Mashed Potato
1/2Tsp Salt
1Tsp White Pepper Powder
1Tsp Oregano
Some Coriander & Mint Leaves
� Tsp Chilli Flakes
Steps
1. Firstly boiled 250gms chicken with half litre water, 1Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste and �Tsp Salt for 10 minutes.
2. Shred the boiled chicken and keep the stock around 350 ml aside. Add 5Tbsp Corn Flour in the chicken stock.
3. Heat a wok, Add 2Tbsp Butter, Chopped Onion and Sweet Corn (Frozen Corn Kernel) saut� it for 2 to 3 minutes until cooked properly.
4. Add chopped Carrot, 3-4 chopped Green Chillies (adjust spiciness as per your taste) and Red, Green & Yellow Capsicum saut� it on medium flame for a minute.
5. Now add 1 Cup Milk while keeping the flame low. Let the milk boil and add the stock and Corn flour mixture to it. While adding the stock keep stirring continuously so that no lumps are form and make sure the flame is low too.
6. Keep the flame high and let it boil completely for 2 to 3 minutes. Do not forget to stir continuously while boiling to avoid lumps. Once the mixture consistency turns thick lower the flame (add more corn flour if the mixture is loose) .Stir for more 2 to 3 minutes so that the corn flour is cooked properly.
7. Now add Boiled & Mashed Potato, Shredded Chicken and Salt as per taste (stock include salt too), White Pepper Powder and Oregano. Mix everything well and turn off the flame.
8. Lastly garnish with Coriander & Mint Leaves and Chilli Flakes.
9. Grease a tray with Butter or Oil, add the mixture while it is hot and set it evenly on the tray.
10. Keep the tray in the fridge for one-hour .Now the mixture is set well and with the help of knife loosen the side of the mixture. Turn the tray and tap a little so that the mixture comes out.
11. Cut it into a shape of cubes (Like Barfi) and around 30 Chicken Barfis are prepared with the mixture.
12. Before frying, dust the Chicken Barfi in all-purpose flour then dip in beaten egg and lastly coat with breadcrumbs.
13. Heat the oil properly and put the Chicken Barfi for fry on medium flame. When one side turns Golden Brown, flip and fry the other side.
14. Serve hot and Crispy chicken Barfi kabab with Tomato Ketchup.
