Chicken Cheese Box Patties are perfect squares, which are made using samosa strips, and filled with a shredded chicken mixture which consists of creamy white sauce, cheese and capsicum. A perfect Starter.

300 Ml Water
Some Salt
150 gms Chicken
A piece of Cinnamon
½ Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
One Finely Chopped Onion
2 Tbsp All Purpose Flour
¾ Cup Milk
2 tbsp each of chopped Capsicum (Green
yellow
red)
1 Green chilli finely chopped
Salt to taste
½ Tsp Mixed Herbs
1 Tsp White Pepper Powder
Some Spring Onion Leaves
½ Cup Mozzarella Cheese
1 Tsp Chilli Flakes
Samosa patti
Slurry of 2 tbsp All purpose flour with 2 Tbsp of Water
One Egg
Some Panko Bread Crumbs

Steps
Make chicken stock by Boiling chicken in 300 ml water, salt, ginger garlic paste. (After the stock is prepared preserve half a cup of stock for the Sauce) Shred the chicken and keep aside.
To make white sauce use a sauce pan, heat oil, add chopped onions and cook till soft add the flour and stir for 2 minutes, then add milk and chicken stock. Continue to stir till well blended and smooth. Add capsicum and green chillies, salt, white pepper powder, mixed herbs and cook till the sauce is thick. This might take 3 -4 minutes. Turn off the flame.
In a bowl mix together the shredded chicken, spring onions, chili flakes, mozzarella cheese and the white sauce the we made.
To make Box Patty place one strip vertically and one strip horizontally making it a cross. Place the chicken batter in the center and roll the edges making it a box, AS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO.
Dip each patty in egg wash, coat with bread crumbs and deep fry in oil on a medium flame till nice and golden. Remove them on an absorbent paper towel. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
