Ingredients
1 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Salt
1/4th Tsp White Pepper Powder
1/4th Tsp Black Pepper Powder
4 Tbsp Curd
2 Tbsp Fresh Cream
1 Cup Water
5-6 Almonds
5-6 Cashew Nuts
1 Tsp Sesame Seeds
1 Tsp Poppy Seeds
3-4 Green Chillies
Milk As Required
3-4 Tbsp Oil
1 Bay Leaf
3 Green Cardamom
3 Cloves
1 Piece Of Cinnamon
1 Onion
Salt
1 Tsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves
3-4 Green Chillies
1/4th Tsp Garam Masala Powder
1/4th Cup Water
Coriander Leaves
Steps
1. Marinate 500gms Chicken with Ginger Garlic Paste, Salt,White Pepper Powder, Black Pepper Powder, Curd and Fresh cream. Keep it aside for 1 hour.( Marination makes the Chicken tender and give creamy texture).
2. Boil 1 cup of water add Almonds, Cashew Nuts, Sesame seeds and Poppy seeds. Let it boil for 7-8minutes.
3. Off the flame and drain all the water.Grind all the above boiled ingredients and Green Chillies in a fine paste by adding milk as required.
4. Meanwhile we have heated 3-4 Tbsp Oil, add Bay Leaf, Cardamom, Cloves , Cinnamon and saute for half a minute.
5. Add chopped Onion and saute until translucent. Add marinated Chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes on high flame.
6. Cover and let it cook for 12-15 minutes on low flame. Keep checking in between so that it does not stick to the bottom and add water if required.
7. After 15 minutes, add grinded paste,Dried Fenugreek Leaves, Green Chillies, Garam Masala Powder and 1/4th Cup Water. Mix everything well and let it boil.
8. Later simmer for 5-7 minutes on low flame.
9. After 7 minutes, oil is separated from the gravy and the consistency of the gravy is neither too thick nor watery.
10. Garnish with Coriander Leaves and serve with Tandoori Naan for lunch.
