Ingredients
2 Cucumbers
1/4th Cup Fresh Mint Leaves
1/2 inch piece Ginger
2 big Lemons
1/4th teaspoon Black Pepper powder
1 tablespoon of Fennel Seeds powder
1/4th teaspoon Black Salt
1 teaspoon Basil Leaves
Steps
Take 2 cucumbers, peel them, cut them into small pieces and put them in a blender.
Take 1/4th cup of fresh mint leaves and wash them thoroughly, add to the cucumber.
Take half an inch of ginger and cut them into small pieces and add them to the blender.
Take 2 big size lemon juice ,1/4th tsp black pepper powder, 1 tbsp fennel seeds powder and 1/4th tsp black salt.
Blend all these ingredients together in a blender till smooth.
Soak 1 tsp of basil seeds in 1/4th Cup of water for 15 minutes and keep aside.
After blending the cucumber mixture, strain it with a strainer.
You will get a thick mixture after straining it, so add 3 cups of water to it, mix it properly.
You can add some jaggery or sugar to this drink, if you wish but if it is being made for diabetic patients do not add any sweetness.
Add some crushed ice to the glass and pour this cucumber cooling drink into it.
Put some soaked Basil seeds in each glass and serve chilled.

*Use crushed ice instead of ice cubes. *Do not store the drink for too long you might lose the colour and eye appeal. *Instead of plain water you can also use club soda or tonic water. * You can also make coconut cucumber mint cooler by swapping water with coconut water. *Taste the cucumber before using it. Sometimes they are bitter and can ruin the taste of your cooler. *You can also make this drink savory by replacing sugar with salt.
