FOOTBALL CHEESY CHICKEN
Ingredients
• 250 gms minced chicken
• 1 tbsp chopped ginger-garlic
• 1 tsp chilli flakes
• 3 tbsp spring onions
• 3 tbsp chopped coriander
• 2 green chillies chopped
• 1 tsp soya sauce
• salt to taste
• 3 tbsp grated processed cheese
• one egg
• 1 & ½ tbsp all-purpose flour
• 1 & ½ tbsp corn flour
• cheese slices cut into 4 pcs
• white bread slices with edges removed and cut into cubes
• oil for frying
Steps
1. In a large bowl, add in the following ingredients: minced chicken, chopped ginger garlic, chilli flakes, spring onions, chopped coriander, chopped green chillies, soya sauce, salt, grated processed cheese, an egg, all purpose flour and corn flour. Mix them well until they are nicely combined. Let them marinate inside the refrigerator for 2 hours.
2. Now, make balls out of the marinated chicken mixture after greasing the palms with oil. Flatten the ball and place one small piece of the cheese slice in the centre. Mould the ball around the cheese.
3. Coat the cut bread cubes around the chicken balls by placing them one by one. Keep pressing slightly to ensure the bread sticks to the chicken boil.
4. Heat oil in a pan and with the flame on medium, fry the balls until golden from all sides.
