Kunafa Recipe is one of the easy dessert you could ever make. This needs just a handful of ingredients and is super easy.
It is annual tradition for me to work on some Ramadan fusion recipe for you guys to try out. This one combines all the best of the seasons flavors with a Western twist.
This year, I simply thought of wrapping French toast in Kunafa! Sandwich toast can often end up being a flacid, soggy and burnt mess. By adding the Kunafa exterior I was aiming for a protective layer that provides a stronger structure with a pleasant, sweet and airy crunch in every bite to contrast against the smooth, cheesy center of the Sandwich toast.
Kunafa Sandwich Toast is a cultural twist of both recipes when you can enjoy flavors of Middle Eastern Kunafa and classic French toast breakfast all in one! It is so good, that you can make it for someone and make an extraordinary breakfast or dessert!
How much ever we say Ramadan is not a month meant for eating, somehow everyone loves to indulge in this month. For that matter, this time, despite everything, we have been eating a lot almost every day.
Trying something new in Ramadan is a speciality so this Kunafa Sandwich Toast is a very good and better option as it is very simple and easy!
I had a good chance to try this recipe. I had a huge packet of bread waiting to be saved. I had cream and mozzarella cheese at my disposal, and I had some sugar syrup in the fridge too. More than everything else, I had people to eat.
