Ingredients for MAHABALESHWAR STYLE STRAWBERRY CREAM

â€¢ 1 Cup Strawberry Pcs to make the strawberry crush

â€¢ Some more freshly cut strawberry to assemble the layers

â€¢ Â¼ Cup Sugar

â€¢ Â½ Cup Whipping Cream (fresh cream can be substituted for this. But add 2-3 tbsp sugar into it and use it chilled)

â€¢ 2-3 vanilla essence

Ingredients

â€¢ 1 Cup Strawberry Pcs to make the strawberry crush
â€¢ Some more freshly cut strawberry to assemble the layers
â€¢ Â¼ Cup Sugar
â€¢ Â½ Cup Whipping Cream (fresh cream can be substituted for this. But add 2-3 tbsp sugar into it and use it chilled)
â€¢ 2-3 vanilla essence

Steps

1. In a vessel, take the strawberry pieces. Add in Â¼ cup sugar. (you may add in more sugar if the strawberries are sour)
2. Turn on the flame on high and stir the strawberry and sugar around until the sugar melts.
3. When the sugar has melted, lower the flame and cover the vessel with a lid. Let the strawberries cook for around 4-5 mins.
4. When the strawberries are tender and cooked, mash them with the help of a spoon and set aside to cool.
5. In a separate bowl, mix the vanilla essence into the whipping cream.
6. Next, whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
7. To assemble, take a serving glass and put the freshly cut strawberry pieces into it as the first layer.
8. For the next layer, put in the whipped cream.
9. Then comes the layer of the cooked strawberries (the strawberry â€œcrushâ€). Follow it with some more whipped cream.
10. Then put it another layer of crush and follow it up with whipped cream.
11. Garnish with a strawberry and serve.
