Ingredients
3 Tbsp Oil
2-3 Bay Leaves
1 Black Cardamom
4 Cloves
2 Cinnamon
1 Tsp Black Cumin
8-10 Black Peppercorns
1 Onion
1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Tomato
½ Tsp Salt
1 Tsap Coriander Powder
4-5 Green Chillies
3 Potatoes
½ cup Water
250gms Green Peas
4 Tbsp Curd
1 Cup Water

1 Tsp Lemon Juice
Salt
½ Tsp Green Cardamom Powder
250gms Basmati Rice
1 Tbsp Ghee

For Cabbage Salad
1-2 Tsp Oil
½ Tsp Mustard Seeds
½ Tsp Red Chilli Powder
Pinch Of Turmeric Powder
2 Cups Cabbage

1 cup Curd
¼ Tsp Sugar

Steps
1. Heat 3 Tbps Oil in a wok, put Bay Leaves, Black Cardamom, Cloves, Cinnamon, Black Cumin, Black Peppercorns and sauté it for a minute.
2. Add sliced Onion and sauté until golden in color. Add Ginger Garlic Paste and sauté it for a minute on medium flame.
3. Add chopped Tomato, Salt, Coriander Powder, Green Chillies and mix it well. Cover it with the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
4. Add Potatoes and Water. Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes on low flame until potatoes are cooked well.
5. Put 250gms Green Peas and let it cook for 4-5 minutes on low flame.
6. Add Curd and cook for 1-2 minutes on high flame. Add 1 cup Water, chopped Coriander Leaves, Lemon Juice, Salt, Green Cardamom Powder and mix it well.
7. Once it starts boiling add 250gms Basmati Rice( soaked in water for half an hour). Mix everything properly. Let it cook on high flame for 5-7 minutes.
8. Water is dried completely now lower the flame. Add Ghee, Fried Onions and Coriander Leaves. Cover with the lid and let it cook for 5-7 minutes. Matar Pulao is ready to serve.
9. For Cabbage Salad- Heat 1-2 Tsp Oil in a pan, put Mustard Seeds, Red Chilli Powder, Pinch of Turmeric Powder and sauté it for 5-6 seconds on low flame. Add Cabbage, Salt and mix it properly while keeping the flame medium.
10. In a bowl put 1 cup Curd, Sugar and Coriander Leaves. Mix it well.
11. Pour the curd mixture on the Cabbage and mix it properly.
12. Serve Hot and Tasty Matar Pulao with Special Cabbage Salad.
