Mayonnaise or commonly known as mayo is a thick cold sauce or dressing usually used in sandwiches, salads or on chips.

Ingredients for Mayonnaise

One Egg

Mustard Seeds (grind to powder and use Â¼ tsp) (optional)

Â¼ tsp Salt

Â¼ tsp Sugar

1 Tsp White Vinegar

1 cup Oil / 250 ML

Steps for Mayonnaise

In a blender or food processor combine mustard powder, salt, sugar, vinegar, egg.

Set the blender on a medium speed and gradually drizzle oil in it while running the blender. The oil should be drizzled in equal intervals. (Do not add too much oil at a time)

Your thick and creamy Mayonnaise is ready.

Transfer to an air tight container and store in a refrigerator for 15-20 days.
