Ingredients for Chicken Masala Fry

Marination

• 700 g of chicken

• ½ cup of yogurt

• 1 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder

• 1 tbsp tikka masala

• Salt to taste

• 1&½ tbsp ginger garlic paste

For Making Masala

• 3 tbsp coriander seeds

• 1 tbsp cumin seeds

• 5 Dried red chillies

• ½ tsp black pepper

For Making Chicken Masala

• 1 tbsp oil

• 5 chopped garlic buds

• 1 tsp garam masala powder

• Chopped coriander leaves

Steps for Chicken Masala Fry

1. Mix all these ingredients together for the marinate preparation and keep it in the refrigerator for about an hour.

To prepare the rest of the ingredients:

2. In a fry Pan add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, dried Red Chillies and black pepper. Now switch on the flame and let it fry for a few minutes. Now put the mixture into a mixer and make the Powder.

3. In another preheated pan, add few drops of olive oil and the chicken marinade prepared earlier. Let it cook for 4-5 minutes. Put on the lid and let it cook for another 10 minutes on a low flame. (Do not put any water in the pan).

4. Add half a cup of oil and garlic buds into a frying pan and sauté for a few minutes. Now add the powdered masala into the pan. Keep the flame low so as to not burn the masala. Sauté for about a minute. Now add the chicken into the pan and mix all the ingredients together.

5. On a low flame mix all the ingredients for about 7 to 8 minutes.

6. Now add some water into the pan. Also add garam masala powder. Put on the lid and leave it for about 5 minutes all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.

7. And coriander leaves for garnishing.

8. Chicken masala fry is ready to be served.
