With a few simple ingredients, you can make the most delicious chicken cheese buns.
Instant yeast and active dry yeast are interchangeable. Instant yeast does not need to be bloomed you can directly add the flour and knead the dough. However, active dry yeast needs to be bloomed with liquid before continuing with the recipe and may take longer to rise.
Bun is usually a small, round risen baked bread designed to hold a patty and some toppings. The name of the bun usually comes from the patty that is stuffed inside.
It will be super easy and delicious to eat and it is the perfect evening snack with tea!

Chicken Cheese Buns
Ingredients
1 teaspoon Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Oil
1 teaspoon Dry Instant Yeast
1/2 cup Milk
1 & 1/2 cup Refined Flour
1 & 1/2 teaspoon Soya Sauce
1 tablespoon Tomato Ketchup
1 tsp White Vinegar
1 teaspoon Chilli Sauce
2 tablespoon Oil
1 tablespoon chopped Garlic
150-200 grams of Chicken (boiled and shredded)
2 Green Chillies
1 medium size Onion
1 Capsicum
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Spring Onion Green part
1/2 tsp Black Pepper powder
Grated Mozzarella and Cheddar cheese mix
1 Egg
White Sesame seeds
Steps
1. Making of the dough;
In a big bowl take 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 tsp oil, 1 tsp dry yeast, add half cup milk to it and mix it with the spoon till the sugar melts.
We will be using instant yeast so there is no need to keep the yeast for blooming, you can knead the dough immediately.
Then add 1 & 1/2 cups of refined flour, knead it with your hands to make a soft dough if needed add some water.
Apply some oil on the dough, cover it and let it rest in a warm place for 1-2 hours. It should rise almost twice its size.
2. Making sauces for the chicken mixture;
In a small bowl take 1 & 1/2 tsp of soya sauce, 1 tbsp tomato ketchup, 1 tsp vinegar, 1 tsp chilli sauce and mix it.
Your sauce mixture is ready.
If you like spicy add more chilli sauce or if you like less spicy then use less.
3. Making chicken mixture;
Take 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add 1 tbsp chopped garlic saute it for half a minute, then add 200 grams boiled and shredded chicken, 2 green chillies.
Cook it on medium flame and keep stirring.
Add one medium size chopped onion, one chopped Capsicum, 1/2 tsp salt, half cup spring onion greens and 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper.
Add the prepared sauce.
Mix all these ingredients and keep stirring.
Cook on high flame for 2 minutes and then off the flame.
4. Preparation of buns;
Check the dough, punch it and knead the dough for 2-3 minutes, then divide into 8 equal parts.
Make a ball of each portion and spread it with your hands.
Add 1 tbsp of chicken filling and grated cheese into the bun, close it forming a round shape like a bun. Follow this step for the remaining buns.
Take a baking tray and place parchment paper on it, grease the paper with ghee, place the prepared buns on this tray.
Beat one egg and apply some egg mixture on the upper surface of each bun with a brush to get a good brown colour.
If you do not eat eggs apply milk .
Sprinkle some white sesame seeds on each bun.
Place the tray in a preheated oven and bake it for 150 -180 degree Celsius for 15-20 minutes.
Serve it with ketchup, mayonnaise or any dip.

Points to Remember *Apply some melted butter on top of the buns once they are done and cover it with a cloth for 15-20 minutes which will help them in remaining soft for a long time. * You can use any veggies of your choice for the chicken filling.
