Crispy chicken strips are a kid-friendly dinner that is perfect for a weeknight! Skip the fast food drive-thru and make perfectly juicy, crispy chicken at home.
This chicken strips are pretty darn good. These crispy chicken strips are healthier than take out or fast food, easy to make and a hit with both kids and adults!
While most chicken strips recipes are made with a seasoned batter then deep-fried, this recipe is so much for flavorful because it is made with crispy panko breadcrumbs.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon Ghee
1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
1 medium size onion chopped
Boneless Chicken
1 teaspoon Salt
1 big size Carrot chopped
3-4 Green Chillies chopped
Green Red Yellow Bell Pepper chopped
1 big size Potato grated
3 Cup Water
1 tsp Chilli Flakes
1/2 teaspoon Mixed Herbs
1 teaspoon Vinegar
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 & 1/2 cup semolina
Coriander
1 Egg+ Salt
Bread Crumbs
Steps
Heat one tbsp ghee in a kadai, you can use butter or oil also.
Add 1 tbsp chopped garlic, sauté for half a minute, then add one medium size chopped onion. Cook on medium flame for 1 minute.
Then add the boneless chicken pieces make the pieces very tiny and small so that it should be cooked easily.
Add 1 tsp salt and cook on high flame for 3-4 minutes. Keep stirring then add one big size chopped carrots mix it with the chicken and cook for 1 minute and keep stirring .
Then add 3-4 chopped green chillies, if you eat less spicy reduce the chilli and if you eat more spicy you can add more.
Add half a cup of yellow, green and red chopped Capsicum, mix all these things, cook it for 2 minutes on high flame keep stirring.
Now take one big size potato and grate it, keep it in a bowl of water.
Strain the water with a strainer, add this grated potato to the chicken mixture mix it and cook it for 1 minute on high flame.
Chicken will be cooked 50% at this point, after cooking it for 3-4 minutes, add 3 cups of water keep the flame high, add one teaspoon Chilli flakes, half teaspoon mixed herbs, one teaspoon vinegar, half teaspoon crushed black pepper and cook it for 2-3 minutes on high flame till it comes to a boil so that all the ingredients are mixed properly.
Then and 1 & 1/2 cup of semolina, keep on mixing on a low flame, add chopped coriander leaves mix it well.
At this point check the salt if less add some, keep mixing it well so that the rawness of the semolina is gone and semolina is properly cooked.
Keep on mixing till it turns into a thick dough at least. Cook for 5-6 minutes on low flame.
When done off the flame.
Now take a chopping board and apply some oil on it, then flatten this chicken mixture on the board with the help of a spatula by half inch thickness in a square or rectangular shape.
Flatten the mixture when it is hot otherwise it will become hard, when the mixture is set on the board, keep it in the refrigerator for 1/2 an hour or you can allow it to cool it outside.
When cool down take it out from the refrigerator and cut it into long strips or whatever shape you may like Triangles, square or any other .
Cut them and place them in a dish. Now beat one egg add little salt to it, then dip this strips in egg , then coat it with panko bread crumbs.
Our Chicken strips are ready to freeze and store. You can store them in the freezer.
Heat oil in a Kadai, deep fry the strips till golden brown on medium to high flame.
Serve it hot with any dip, chutney or ketchup.
