For this Fried Garlic Chicken recipe, we highly recommend boneless, skinless chicken thighs. I love working with chicken thighs. No matter what cooking method throw at them, they always come out tender and moist its more flavourful. So, boneless, skinless chicken thighs are the way to go in my opinion!
Garlic Chicken is tender pan-fried chicken swimming in an umami, buttery and garlicky sauce. It is finished off with red chili flakes & black pepper for a mild heat and garnished with your favorite herbs. Ingredients
Half kg Chicken
1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tablespoon Oil
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
2 teaspoon Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
1/4th teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1 tablespoon coarse grinded Coriander Powder
1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
Half teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
1 teaspoon Dried Fenugreek Leaves
1 Green Chilli
Fresh Coriander
1 Egg White
5 tablespoon Chickpea Flour
2 tablespoon Rice Flour
Oil
One and a half cup Milk
1 tablespoon Corn Flour
1 tablespoon Butter
1 tablespoon Garlic
1/4th teaspoon Salt
1/4th teaspoon White Pepper Powder
1/4th teaspoon Chilli Flakes
Fresh Coriander
3 tablespoon Fresh Cream
Steps
Take half kg boneless chicken cut into small pieces, pat dry it, then add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp Oil, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder, 1/4th tsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp coarse grinded coriander powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, half tsp garam masala powder, 1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves, 1 chopped green chilli, 1 egg white Fresh Coriander mix it till well combined.
Then add 5 tbsp Chickpea Flour, 2 tbsp Rice Flour mix it well by adding 2 tbsp of water.
Marinate it for one hour.
Heat oil in a kadai deep fry the chicken pieces on medium flame for 6 to 7 minutes till golden brown and crispy.
Remove the fried chicken in a serving dish and keep aside.
Take one and half cup milk add 1 tbsp corn flour mix it.
Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan, add 1 tbsp chopped garlic, when the garlic turns a little golden in color, then pour the milk mixture into it, keep the flame low and keep stirring till it comes to a boil and starts to thicken.
Then add 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp white pepper powder, 1/4th tsp chilli flakes, some chopped coriander, 3 tablespoon fresh cream and cook on low flame for one minute keeps stirring.
Then off the flame and pour this garlic sauce on the fried chicken pieces and serve hot with Roti, Naan, paratha or as a starter.
