Ingredients
(Washed and soaked in water for 5/6 hours)
200 gms Broken Wheat
3 tbsp Masur Dal
4 tbsp Urad Dal
1tsp Salt
2 tbsp Oil
1 litre water
3 tbsp Oil
1 big Onion Sliced
400 grams Boneless Mutton
1 ½ tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Green Chilli Paste
½ pinch Turmeric Powder
(Dry roast and grind into powder)
2 tsp Coriander Seeds
8/10 Black Pepper Corns
1 tsp Fennel Seeds
1 tsp Cumin
Other
1 tsp Ginger Powder
½ tsp Roasted Fenugreek Leaves
½ tsp Vinegar
1 tbsp Red Chilli Sauce
½ tsp Soya Sauce
½ cup Milk
1 tbsp Oil
2 tbsp Ghee
Few Saffron Strands
For garnishing

Coriander and Mint Leaves
Steps
Boil the soaked lentils with 1 tsp salt, 2 tbsp oil and 1 litre water and pressure cook it on high flame till one whistle and on low flame for 10 -15 mins.
Take another pressure cooker heat 3 tbsp oil, put onion, cook till golden brown, add mutton, ginger garlic paste, salt and fry it on high flame for 2 mins, add green chilli paste, turmeric pinch and little water and cook on high flame till one whistle and on low flame for 8-10 mins till mutton is soft and tender.
Dry roast Coriander Seeds, Black Pepper Corns, Fennel Seeds, Cumin and grind into powder.
Check the lentils that are boiled, if done; mix it with a whisker to mash the lentils and wheat.
Now check the mutton if done, mash it with a masher as it is boneless.
Now keep the lentils and wheat mixture on low flame, add fenugreek leaves, ginger powder, roasted and grounded spices powder, vinegar, red chilli sauce, soya sauce and the mashed mutton .
Add 1 cup of water and mix it on high flame, check salt at this time and keep stirring it well until all the ingredients are mixed thoroughly and add half cup milk.
When it starts boiling, reduce the flame and cook for 8-10 mins but keep checking and stirring in between.
Now for tadka take a small wok heat oil and ghee, add saffron strands and off the flame keep it aside.
Check the mutton harees if it starts thickening it is done.
Garnish it with coriander, mint leaves, fried onions, roasted cashew and pour the tadka oil on it.
